About the Embassy
The Embassy of India in Helsinki was opened in 1968. The Embassy protects and promotes Indian interests and develops relations with Finland through contacts with Finnish business, media, education and other stakeholders.
Led by the Indian Ambassador, the Embassy team explains and advocates the position of the Indian Government on bilateral and multi-lateral political, economic, social, and scientific issues of mutual interest.
Hemant H. Kotalwar is the Ambassador of India to the Republic of Finland since July 2024.
