During his visit to Helsinki on 16–17 July, Minister of Commerce & Industry Shri Piyush Goyal met Finland's Minister of Economic Affairs, Sakari Puisto, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Riikka Purra, and business leaders at the India–Finland Business Roundtable. Highlighting the strong complementarities between India's manufacturing strengths and Finland's technological expertise, he emphasized opportunities for deeper collaboration in innovation, clean energy, and digital technologies.
He also held discussions with KONE and Nokia leadership to strengthen trade, investment, and manufacturing partnerships, including expanding Kone and Nokia's innovation and manufacturing footprint in India.
